How do I know you’re the right therapist for me?

Finding the right therapist is critical to having a successful and positive counseling journey. You should feel comfortable with your therapist. This will allow you to open up and share more freely so it is imperative that there is a good fit. This is why we offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. The free consultation is not a counseling appointment and there is no obligation to schedule an appointment. How long will it take?

Unfortunately, this is not possible to say in a general FAQs page. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time therapy can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek therapy in the first place.

Can I cancel service?

The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask that you provide us with 24 hour notice. If you miss a session without canceling, or cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you will be charged a $75 fee. 

Please note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions; thus, you will be responsible for the cancellation fee. You can cancel your appointment by calling or emailing your specific therapist. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, it will be treated like a late cancellation. 

Do you have evening and weekend appointments?

Yes! We understanding that schedules vary and we strive to accommodate evening and weekend appointments.

Do you prescribe medication?

Our providers do not prescribe medication.
